Orochi Calibur
For the second time, Orochi had been slain. Despite the exhaustive efforts of his demonic forces, the Resistance managed to stop his every plan and ended him once and for all. This, however, proved to be a most unsavory mistake.
Meanwhile, the seemingly unstoppable force of chaos that is the Great Hero King, Algol, obtained the famed Soul Calibur blade. Growing ever-more powerful, he opened a rift in time and space, hoping to find the only remaining target: Soul Edge.
While doing so, he found himself merging his world with the already incredibly unstable world that the Serpent King had created. Algol didn't come alone, however. The fighters from his world have also been dragged into this chaotic realm and disaster has followed.
Da Ji and Kiyomori Taira have taken advantage of the new situation and immediately began recruiting. The first began with the mysterious assassin known as Voldo. After extensive reconnaissance, Da Ji learned that Voldo served a mysterious 'Master'. Working with the half-demon Kiyomori, she summoned Voldo's master and absorbed his soul into her being through black magic. As a result, Voldo follows Da Ji's orders without question.
Still, it became quickly apparent that Algol was a serious threat to Orochi's Army. In an attempt to slow him down, Da Ji and Kiyomori resurrected Algol's slain son. They hoped to lull the Hero King into a false sense of security, then slay both him and his son, Arcturus. However, Algol deluded himself to believe Arcturus was naught more than an illusion and attempted to kill him. His attempt failed, however, when Voldo jumped into the fray.
Realizing the battle couldn't be won at this time, Da Ji, Arcturus, and Voldo retreated. Once in safety, Kiyomori could sense the tremendous amount of hate and jealousy that radiated from Arcturus. Once again, they found this to be a most perfect opportunity to exploit their new 'friends'. Using black magic, Da Ji and Kiyomori summoned Orochi's corpse and amplified Arcturus' fury. The darkness in his soul filled Orochi's body and dragged his own soul and power back into its fleshy prison.
With the darkness came new knowledge and new dangers. Orochi now knows of the existence of Soul Edge and plans to seize its power for his own. What will become of the warriors of this twisted realm? And what of Algol? Will he and Orochi clash or merge their power to eliminate all who oppose? Create your own destiny.
