Powers And Abilities
Strengths:
Dante is not your typical half breed. In fact, Dante possesses extraordinary powers that not even humans and demons are capable of. This was given primarily from being one of the sons of Sparda (a legendary Dark Knight who fought against demons to protect humans). - Dante was born with strength that could tear down stone walls with little to no difficulty, as well as to out beat demons who are ten times larger than himself. He has defeated demons that are giants and even went as far as killing a Leviathan-like creature. As far as the human world, Dante can over power even with the authorities which includes breaking handcuffs and taking down street thugs with no difficulty.
Superior Strength and speed
With strength also comes agility. Naturally, Dante can dodge bullets, blunt objects, ranged weapons and even close encounter attacks. He is able to jump at great heights and often run up vertical walls to show off his flexibility.
Healing - being the half breed that he is, Dante can regenerate certain amount of his health. Dante can withstand basic cuts and bruises that do not pierce towards his vital organs. These wounds can heal within minutes whereas more fierced wounds that hit his organ may take a while to recover. It had been proven that Dante can withstand a sword plunging through his chest to where he can literally let the sword go completely through his chest and heal soon after.
Devil Trigger.
Both a gift and a curse, "Devil Trigger" is his true form of demonic power. He turns into a black and red based shell of a demon that grants him all of his strength and abilities but amplified (not by much but perhaps by 3% more than his usual strength). However, he is limited of using DT, as he uses it mainly when he knows he's in serious danger or near death. His DT may last only up to thirty seconds or less.

Weaknesses:
[Aloof.
Even though he is a son of Sparda, Dante never had the luxury or experience of being "close" to someone other than his now deceased mother. Despite his arrogance and not ever taking things too seriously, Dante has an emotional side that can take his judgement the wrong way.
Women.
Dante has a soft spot for attractive women or women in distress. When he sees a woman in trouble, rest assured, he will be there as their knight in shining armor. Any type of women will always catch his attention - including the two ladies he met through his life time. Whether it's luring him to an island and ultimately find out she betrays him or going up against a giant tower to find a falling woman to put a bullet in his head, Dante will always be there for a lady in distress.
Personal Vendetta.
Ever since the fued between him and his brother, Dante can take things too personally; especially when it comes down to his personal family matters. This would be probably the only time Dante may end up taking his seirous route and become ruthless. This is where he can get his priorities out of line.
Powerful Devils.
In his "Deivl Trigger" form, Dante unleashes his full potential powers as a demon. Unfortunately, he is also vulnerable to more heavy attacks from his opponents. Even in DT, Dante's no much for stronger demons such as Arkham and Lord Mundus. In such cases, when fighting against Arkham (when possessed with Sparda's powers), Dante actually becomes worn out due to the massive abilities Arkham carries. Other powerful demons such as Lord Mundus also proved to be able to lower Dante's strength signficantly. So one can only guess that demons or foes who are as strong as his father will result for Dante to lose much of his strength with heavy physical attacks done by them.

Weapons And Equipment:
-Throughout his life span, Dante had often encountered Devil Arm's, which are weapons that were once living Devil's. Once upon a time the Devil Arm were defeated Devil's soul or power that Dante can possess.
[li]Rebellion - Dante's most trusted close range weapon named "Rebellion" is a massive broadsword with a heavy double-edged blade. In its dormant form, the pommel is a single spike, but after awakening it splits open into several. The grip is plain, but the guard is skeletal, with a skull-face on each side leading to the rib cage from which the blade emerges. Dormant, the crosstree is folded in against the ribs, but extends when awakened.
[/li][li]Ebony & Ivory - are Dante's trademark pair of personally customized, semi-automatic pistols, designed to rapidly fire bullets instilled with demonic power. The white gun on the right, Ivory, was custom built for rapid firing and fast draw times while the black gun on the left, Ebony, has been modified for long-distance targeting and comfort.[/li][/ul][/blockquote]
Personal Information
Personality:
Confidence and power. Dante can face down the King of Hell, the Savior, and his twin brother Vergil in a fight without showing even a sliver of fear. He's not afraid to taunt someone if they piss him off. Dante is famous for saying things to antagonize demons just for fun. For example: Dante revs his sword like Nero leaning over implying "test me with that sword". This had been a trait long since his first encounter with his twin brother, Vergil at the Temen-ni-gru tower.
Dante can be very harsh and cruel to his enemies, but is, at his core, a kind and caring person. He let Nero keep Yamato (The sword given to Vergil by Sparda), comforted Lucia, and wept for Trish, He even gives Nero the sign of "I'll see you later" with a hand motion; almost implying that he would look after Nero. Sparda was more powerful than any other Devil because he learned compassion. Which is a human emotion Dante has. Dante may not be as cruel as he may look. Afterall, he has a human side to him.
In his youth, Dante was very sarcastic and comical, taunting his brother on top of the Temen-ni-gru tower, he says "You've got some fun planned for me RIGHT Vergil?" He became more serious over time, but never completely lost that part of himself. Anytime a demon tries to attack Dante, he will make fun of their attributes. When facing Cereberus he made the joke that he was going to take him for a walk. After killing Berial he says "What a shame, I was expecting more than just a few fireworks", implying that he was barely challanged by him. Dante can be arrogant at times but he never underestimates his opponents when up for the challenge.
Dante likes to be the center of attention all the time. (this may have faded in time as well, but it shows more than once during his youth). Dante always aims to be stylish in all actions.Dante acts for the good of others as well as himself.
History:
[ I'm going to put up his history here. It's a long history and I do not want to give out spoilers for those who have not played any of the DMC games. ]
After the ordeal in Fortuna, the Order had fallen and Dante went back to the life at his office. Once again he continues his misisons given by those who seek his help. Little did he know that the world had changed and that demons were no longer just a threat. More and odd beings lurk around and despite that fact, Dante felt like he could take a break from the demon hunter life and venture in to a new one.

Ebony & Ivory were his only weapon at the moment in his hands. Currently, he was managing to keep a block off where he took place: at a bar. The last person who was in here fled because he heard some moans and groans coming from the restroom. Dante, on the other hand, took care of that problem. How? A nice, hot lead bullet between the eyes shut the groaning and injured Hell Pride demon quite well.
Chairs, stools, tables, and even pool tables blocked virtually all of the windows and doors. Someone had a good time from barraciding themself from the Hell Prides. Luckily he did not have to push the pool tables since they were already blocking tall windows when he got in here. Not that he need too but Dante felt a bit creative this time. Instead of the usual shoot and slash, Dante decided to become more of a pyromanic. He sat on the surface of the bar counter, seeing lines of alcohol to use for some Molotov. He grinned, knowing his trick would surely work. It’s certainly good to set the approaching pack of Hell Prides on fire!
He’d set his handguns in its holster that was placed under his and used his hands to turn himself around behind the counter. He hopped off, gathering up the alcohol beverages and a few towel/cloth to get it prepared. Of course, the entire time of getting them ready, Dante was cautious enough to hear the demons make their way to the bar, knowing that Dante was in there for them to stop him from heading to his destination.
Finally he got a few of them ready to use. Now, all he really needed was a way to ignite the Molotov’s. Dante went to the back where most of storage and inventory were. He found the owner of the bar where his body was mutilated by something that was not by the Hell Prides. No, something else was around and Dante was curious enough to find out what did it. At any rate, he quickly searched for one key item: a lighter.
However, by the time he did find a small box full of lighters, he heard something at the door. It was not the typical banging of a frantic person or even a drunk. It was something far more obvious in terms of sound. He grabbed the small box of lighters and headed back to the bar counter. He took at least one lighter and three Molotov’s. Then, he saw the door literally fall down. Blue pools of eyes would look as the woods of the chairs cripple under the heavy door. It was an Aarchne demon? The spider-like demon, spitting webs and poison only meant do damage. He hated them, with a pasison.
By reaction, Dante quickly fled back into the storage room, where it seemed like none of the windows or the single door had been blocked off. He used his right elbow to push the door handle down and then she made sure that his body was still in the doors path. Dante turned, allowing the lighter to expose a single flame. “Let’s see how well you handle with fire . . .” He said to himself, igniting the first Molotov. Quickly he tossed it, right when the Arachne had entered the storage room.
The Arachne was set on fire, but Dante made sure he was at a good distance between himself and the now engulfed Arachne. He could hear it screech, as if it was in pain or dying. Perhaps both? Nonetheless, it seem to be effective enough to stop the damn thing. When he saw the fire somewhat die down, he could see the burn flesh of the spider-like demon and its body virtually lifeless. This was his cue to get the hell out of there and that’s what he did.
Normally, Dante would take out the lesser demons with his trusted Rebellion and handguns, though this time, he felt a little creative. It took no effort to stop an Arachne with fire but he still had to deal with the Hell Prides that were appearing all over the city. Dante pushed the bottom of his red coat to the side, shaking his head after leaving the bar. "One down . . . hundred more to go." He said, rather cocky for his own good.
