Personal Information
Personality:
Rowan is very introverted and quiet, and he likes to be alone for the most part. Though he can appear distant and depressed to someone who doesn't know him, he's not really either of these things. Once he opens up to someone, Rowan can be very sweet and friendly, and he oftentimes serves as the voice of reason in his friendships. He's very insecure about himself, especially in regards to being seen showing more skin than he usually does, and even though he graduated school at the top of his class, he has trouble seeing himself as worthwhile.
History:
Rowan was born in Dublin, Ireland, the youngest child to loving parents Keenan and Fiona with seven children. He has four sisters (Aileen, Etna, Ciara, and Maurine) and two brothers (Nolan and Séamus). Ever since he could remember, he's been a Catholic, and he always has a rosary around his neck. His parents were never the most strict and devout followers, however, so that rubbed off on him. After graduating from his schooling, Rowan was unsure what to do with himself. With war on the horizon between Ireland and Scotland, he figured that would be as good a purpose as any and enlisted into the military. Rowan managed to persevere through boot camp, and the war was short, ending within two years. He came out of it all with a broken leg and a very close friend. Now, eight months later, his leg has healed and he's got an office job in order to pay his expenses. Life is normal for him once again.

It was certainly no place for a guy like him. Sometimes, he wondered if he'd made the right choice, joining the army?
Bah, there wasn't anything to do about it now. The game was on, and there was no backing out after training without an obscene fine to pay.
He sighed and sat down on the couch in his flat with one of his favorite novels. It would be a good thing for him to read. Get his mind off of everything else. His light, peridot eyes would skim over each word, and he'd imagine himself a background character in the story, just another wandering pedestrian looking on while Detective Connor was going undercover to solve the mystery of-
Rowan jumped, hearing a loud crash and cheering from the room next door. He glared, releasing a heavy sigh. Curse these thin walls! He put his book down and threaded his freckled fingers through his fiery red hair with the slightest bit of irritation. It seemed he wouldn't be able to get a moment of peace, after all.
