Powers And Abilities
Strengths:
Teleportation
Ghirahim has the ability to teleport freely, be it short or long range. He almost instantaneously reappears at his new location without any side affects or problems.
Swordsmanship
Ghirahim is well versed in swordfighting, especially when wielding two blades. He is also excellent at predicting others fighting against him with a sword, and love to toy with them when they attack. Hisswordsmanship is legendary.
Demonic nature and form
He is taller, faster and stronger than a human, with a natural hardiness that comes from being a Demon Lord.
Red diamond blades
Ghirahim can summon razor-sharp, red, diamond-shaped blades that hover and float where he wills, controlled by his mind alone. They can be used to attack but can be knocked aside with weapon strikes or other solid objects.
Weaknesses:
Arrogance and over confidence
Ghirahim is terribly proud and arrogant, believing himself to be superior to pretty much everyone save his master. It's not without good reason that he's confident in himself, but this does mean once he's been smacked about a bit he starts to get... irrational. In fact, even the thought of losing or not getting his own way can sometimes send him over the edge. And once enraged, he becomes a bit more predictable, and a lot less careful.
Insanity
Ghirahim is like a two sided coin in some ways. First there's the cool, calm and eloquent creature, someone ready to provoke and taunt and show off. Then behind it all is a monster. Someone happy to manipulate and threaten and torture. A sadist and an irrational thinker, the other side to Ghirahim is very dangerous indeed, but a lot less focused.
Vanity
Ghirahim is incredibly vain and proud of his appearance. Damaging that would be met with a less than positive response.
Weapons And Equipment:
Dual Swords
Ghirahim has a pair of matching duel swords that he sometimes uses in close combat.
Personal Information
Personality:
As previously mentioned, Ghirahim is like two sides of the same coin.
The first is the more relaxed, calm man. A creature that is smug and confident in himself, and proud of his sparkling appearance and personality. Like this he is aloof and eloquent, mocking those he views beneath him (ie. everyone), and overly dramatic with both gestures, actions and words. It's sometimes hard to take him seriously when he's behaving like a diva, and he truly finds it quite enjoyable to be so. When Ghirahim is behaving like this is when he hasn't been provoked... or when he hasn't provoked himself. He loves being in control, he loves feeling better than those around him. His arrogance is second to none.
However, when he flips, he seems almost like an entirely different person. Many things can set him off; being beaten in combat or verbally, being hurt, wounded or having his appearance damaged, simply realising that someone is in his way, someone disobeying him or thinking themselves better than him, having problems completing his current missions or objectives, minor things going wrong in his plans and many things in between. He becomes erratic and incensed at the closest living target, cruelty and sadism shining through. He claims he has a high appetite for bloodshed, and is happy to threaten and bully others with threats of violence and torture - which he will more than likely then attempt to follow through with. He loses all composure, and becomes all but uncontrollable, far from the eloquent, dandyish front he puts on at other times. When he's like this, he's a terrible danger to anyone nearby.
History:
Demon Lord Ghirahim is the chief of the earth-based demon clans. Although powerful and of high authority in his own right, he answers only to his master Demise. Demise tasked him with bringing the princess Zelda to him to help resurrect his fallen master, and Ghirahim readily accepted the task. He set out with a great plan (ie. summoning a giant tornado), but it all fell down around his pointed ears when the hero of time, Link, became involved. Irritated at being unable to follow through with his plan, he attempted to kill Link, but instead came to a draw, deciding that the holy sword Link was wielding was the reason the boy yet lived. He retreated to further plan.
Many more times he would encounter Link, and many more times would he nearly manage to capture the princess Zelda. Each of these situations ended in failure and infuriation. It is from this point in his time line that Lord Ghirahim finds himself flung into these stitched together worlds, and he now hunts for Zelda here... Whilst taking his time to 'enjoy' the sights (or rather, slowly get more and more frustrated and less able to logically find an exit to his own world).
Sample Post
Well now, this was something different.
He perched on a rooftop, looking out over the strange city, his head tilting a little to the side and a single finger tapping gently against his bottom lip. His mind was racing with reasoning as to what had happened. One moment he's been speaking to the boy. Lonk or whatever his name was, he'd decided to teleport to tease him, and instead of reappearing behind the Hero, he'd ended up on top of a building. Well. Just. What.
The Demon Lord's eyes narrowed a little, a slight frown furrowing his brow as his irritation grew. The finger tapping gently against his lip grew more agitated until it stopped moving completely, just pressing against his chin, a kind of frozen rage suddenly in his eyes. Slowly, his lips turned down, expression darkening considerably as his mind provided useless answer after useless answer. The princess was going to evade him again. He had to get back there. But how? He'd tried simply teleporting back, but to no avail. Why didn't it work?! It was usually such a simple matter. But. Not. Now.
His hands dropped to his side, fingers curled like claws.
"Not good enough." He hissed to himself more than anything. "Not good enough at all."
Somewhere below a woman was walking past, balancing a large urn on her head. His anger grew. How dare she interrupt him? He straightened, cloak catching on the breeze, and dropped down straight for her, no longer even thinking about how to get back.
