Powers And Abilities
Strengths:
superhuman durability:
Being an angel has made Castiel completely invulnerable to any normal weapons such as guns, knives and, of course, punches and kicks. Even many magic-imbued weapons, such as a knife made to be able to kill any demon, weren't able to do much to him. It is reasonable to assume that he could survive small explosions or getting hit by a car. Obviously, it isn't impossible to hurt him, but it's certainly made incredibly different by any normal human. The only weapons in his universe that can harm him are those made to specifically kill angels. Castiel also cannot be infected with illness of any sort.
healing:
When Castiel is hit with normal weapons the wounds heal very quickly, regardless of how impossible it should be to heal from. If it were a small cut, it would heal in a few seconds. A large slice will take about an hour or two at best to heal. Obviously there are things he can't heal from, like having his head or his limbs chopped off. The extent goes from minor to moderate wounds {such as large scars and cuts}.
teleportation:
self-explanatory. Castiel appears with the sound of a brief woosh and the sound of wings. There are no limits to his teleportation, besides what is completely unattainable to everyone.
superhuman strength:
Obviously, being one of God's soldiers, Castiel has more strength than even demons who themselves are noticeably stronger than humans. It seems he's stronger than even some angels, proving him to be more than a formidable foe for anyone short of an archangel {in his world, at least}. Castiel's strength is enough to allow him to lift incredibly heavy objects, likely stopping at lifting a car or similar objects. Fortunately, Castiel tends to avoid fighting as much as he possibly can.
telepathy:
Castiel's telepathy has proven more than useful in the past. It grants him the ability to read minds, transfer messages from his own mind into another's and block out anyone trying to read his mind or mind-control him. His telepathy also allows him to enter dreams to communicate with others while they're asleep.
healing:
Castiel can heal any wound short of death, crippling wounds and certain diseases. Depending on the wound, it could take a few seconds to five minutes to heal.
telekinesis:
Like all angels, Castiel is incredibly skilled in the use of telekinesis. He can throw people around with his mind, seemingly with relative ease. He can also apparently carve things into people with his telekinesis, as shown when he carved the Enochian Sigil into Dean and Sam's bones. In battle, Castiel tends to use this ability the most.
magic touch:
With a single touch, Castiel can exorcise lesser demons {non-player demons} and sedate regular humans. His sedation can be blocked out with mind protection.
Weaknesses:
Despite his many abilities, Castiel can be stopped relatively easily if you have the right tools. Simply taking holy oil, burning it and throwing that at him will damage or kill him. Burning a circle of holy oil around him makes him unable to move out of the circle or use his powers out of the circle. There are certain symbols that, when pressed, can force any angel out of the area. He also has no idea how to use technology of any sort, so you won't find him even trying to program stuff. He can also be killed by divine energies similar to his own or the special Angel-Killing Knives of his universe.
Weapons And Equipment:

Cannot even use a cell-phone.
Personal Information
Personality:
A serious, somber angel, Castiel appears to be just like all the other angels in Heaven. Everything is taken seriously with him, even things that humans would find humor in. Because of this, Castiel is completely unable to understand anything resembling humor, or at least what is considered humor by our standards. It is apparent that angels have their own standards of humor when Castiel remarked that his associate, Uriel, was one of the funniest angels around. Uriel was just as serious about everything as Castiel, possibly moreso.
Castiel has recently fallen from Heaven, though unlike most Fallen Angels, he has kept his Grace; meaning that he is still an actual angel. The reason he fell from Heaven is because he believed in free will and helped Dean Winchester try to prevent the apocalypse, even though they failed. The point is, Castiel is different from the other angels in that he fully believes that the choices people make are not predestined and that destiny is something the angels use to get people to do what they want.
Castiel is able to form friendships with humans, though they will often be very awkward. Castiel is completely unable to use human technology and cannot adapt to any human culture out there. It's what happens when you're an angel for billions of years.
History:
Castiel, like all angels, was created by God in the beginning. Unlike the archangels, Castiel and his brother Uriel were made around the time of the Archangel Lucifer's rebellion. Like most angels, the young Castiel was appalled and a tad disturbed by Lucifer's rebellion against God. At a young age, Castiel was incredibly loyal to God despite having never seen him. Even as a few other angels began to drift away from God's word, Castiel remained true to him. As he grew older, Castiel began to realize that the other angels weren't as faithful to God as they should be. As he was a low rank and it was God's law to not question the actions of the archangels, Castiel remained silent.
One day, God simply vanished leaving Archangel Michael in charge. Castiel, despite having been stationed on Earth for about 2000 years, was aware that he was gone. After the angels sensed the Winchesters breaking the first of the 66 seals that released Lucifer from his cage in hell, Castiel acted immediately by restoring life to the only one who could stop the rest of the seals - the one who'd broken the first. Dean Winchester. After giving Dean about a day to settle down, Castiel paid him a visit. The angel was treated with hostility before revealing his true nature. Castiel told Dean that they were going to try to stop the 66 Seals from being broken. What Dean wasn't aware of was that it was all a plan to start the apocalypse.
As soon as Lilith, the first demon, began breaking the seals, Castiel rushed to inform Dean that it was starting and that it needed to be stopped as soon as possible. Even when Castiel brought in a specialist, his partner Uriel, they couldn't stop the seals from being broken. After stopping a seal from being broken, Castiel learned of an angel killing. Seven angels had been found dead. He assumed it was demons who did it and went after Alastair. The angel captured him and asked Dean to torture the demon to get information from him. In the end it turned out that Uriel was killing angels - not Alastair. Castiel, with the help of fallen angel Anna, killed Uriel.
In a strange move, Castiel appeared when Dean and Sam discovered that a prophet was writing books about them. The angel swiftly informed them that if they tried to harm him an archangel would appear and stop his death by killing them. Castiel also briefly abandoned his vessel, Jimmy Novak, only to take him as vessel again after he saw what would happen if he continued allowing him to be free.
Just as it seemed the apocalypse was about to begin, Castiel appeared to Dean once more and brought him into the service of God and his angels. To further the angels' true agenda of causing the apocalypse, Castiel released Sam from the panic room Dean had been keeping him in; an action Castiel would later regret. Castiel, after being summoned by Dean, was tricked into revealing the true plan of the angels. Dean convinced Castiel that this wasn't right and that it wasn't what God wanted. Castiel realized that his words were true and brought Dean to Sam, hoping to stop him from breaking the final seal - the death of Lilith.
Castiel, instead of going with Dean, went to the prophet Chuck and warned him of what was going to happen. The archangels, knowing that Castiel had betrayed them, appeared and destroyed Castiel completely.
However, he was not dead. Not for long. God resurrected him to aid Dean and Sam in stopping Lucifer and stopping the angels from continuing on like this. Just as the Seraph Zachariah was about to kill Dean and Sam, Castiel appeared, killed Zachariah's men and told Zachariah that God was on his side - not theirs. After Zachariah left, Castiel carved a protective symbol on Dean and Sam's bones which kept angels from finding them. Castiel began searching for God while developing a strong, friendly relationship with Dean and Sam.

The sound of rustling wings announced Castiel's appearance in the city of Rome. The angel had no idea of what to do with the fact that he'd apparently been thrown into another dimension. While he knew that such dimensions existed... Castiel was not familiar with this one. He had either never traveled there, or something of incredible power had created it recently - which seemed impossible to Castiel. Only archangels and God himself could create other dimensions.[/size]
The angel scanned the area before his eyes came upon a marble statue of the Greek God Zeus, or rather Jupiter since it was Roman. Castiel stepped closer, looking the statue over. Jupiter, though he liked the name Zeus better, did exist. He was aware of that. But what brought these men to worship a lesser god like Zeus Castiel would never understand. Not that he ever did really understand humans.
