“Ack!” Jaspar coughed and gagged as he was splattered with a sickeningly sticky mass of black guts as Predator skilfully took the small chance Jaspar had made with startling aggression and precision. “My God that is vile!” he choked, trying to wipe his face, retching as the overwhelming smell filled his nostrils and forced its way down his throat.
The demon’s eyes widened as Predator darted about, expertly executing a sharp stab into the giant spider’s belly. His new acquaintance was powerful indeed, and couldn’t help but feel awfully glad that he wasn’t in the spider’s place right now. A flicker of fear for the beast tickled his stomach momentarily before drawing his attention back to the situation at hand.
Jaspar wracked his brain trying to think of a way he could help, painfully aware that without his powers; he’d probably be more of a hindrance than a help. The urge to run was becoming stronger and stronger, but upon seeing Predator struggling to free himself from the stomach of the spider, he knew he couldn’t just run for it.
“Oh man, this sucks...” he whined quietly, trying to dodge blows from the spider all the while.
“HEY! YOU!” He yelled up at the giant, trying to catch its attention. “DON’T MAKE ME DO ANYTHING I’LL REGRET! I’VE GOT PROMISES TO KEEP!” The demon pummelled at the injuries already present on the beast, trying to distract it with pain, whilst desperately trying to think how on earth he would be able to inflict any kind of damage whilst not dying a horribly painful dead himself.
“OkayokayokayJaspar,” he thought to himself, legs are stronger than arms, right? Okay so...
Gripping at the hairs on the spiders leg, he hauled himself up a few feet, hoping that there would be enough friction for him to be able to support his weight. Giving a mighty kick at the now gaping wound he clambered higher and higher onto the flailing creature; attempting to avoid its wrath all the while.
