Personal Information
Personality:
Captain Jack Harkness, most people who know him can gather a few things about him. Well the most seen quality of Jack is his flirting. Just by him saying hello and using his 51st century charm is way he flirts with pretty much everyone. No matter what species, gender, age and so forth, Captain Jack Harkness shall flirt using his charming charm. Though he also sleeps as in has sexual intercourse with quite a few people as well. Though most of the time he uses it as a means to gather information and other secrets while the person he sleeps with is in bed with them, of course after they are drunk is when it works the most on people in any case. Though he does care about lasting partnerships as well, though it would take a close friend to get far enough in Jack's heart to love them back as opposed to going through the motions of just getting a target drunk and so forth.
At one point in his life, Jack was a con man which made him have no problem with lying to people. But those days are behind him and now he devotes his life to the protection and peace of humans. By fighting in both world wars and other wars Jack has a dedication to fighting. Military and so forth. He also shows a love for the human race and well a love for fighting by joining and remaking Torchwood, which he remade to be earth's main defence againist alien affairs. His being a leader of TOrchwood has made Jack more of a charming man himself and less of a man who tricks people into buying space junk. Though the main reason he stopped being a con man was because of his travels with The Doctor. His travels with The Doctor was probably what had changed Jack the most. But his travels with the Doctor made his love of time travel increase greatly.
When Jack first learned he couldn't be killed his was a bit unsure about what exactly what that all meant, as in what would he look like after centurys or even thousands of years of aging, But despite this unsurity JAck also viewed this as a perfect way to help out humans and the like. It also increased JAck's cockiness in the art of fighting. He now, much like he did in any case, charges into most fights and keeps fighting until he runs out of ammo and other resources to use in battle. Or of course if he has no way to damage the enemy then he just runs off and waits to learn a way of how to damage the person he fights, which doesn't take him very long to learn a way to do so because he just has quiet a lot of experience in the feild of combat nad how to damage alien life. His cockiness also a lot of the time gets himself killed but like in any case he often gets himself killed to confuse the enemy.
History:
MEETING THE DOCTOR
While running a scam involving a Chula ambulance in the London Blitz, he spotted Rose Tyler hanging from a barrage balloon. He rescued her and took her aboard his ship. Deducing she came from the future, he thought the Doctor and she were Time Agents.
Jack's first adventure with the Doctor.
Rose introduced him to the Ninth Doctor and crushed his dream of conning the Time Agency. The trio stopped the plague brought about by the ambulance's nanogenes. Jack took an active German bomb ready to explode in his ship to save many people and was almost killed himself. However, the TARDIS materialised in his ship and the Doctor and Rose rescued him before the ship exploded. Jack became a new companion for the Doctor, to the delight of both Rose, who found Jack attractive, and Jack, who found both Rose and the Doctor likewise. (DW: The Doctor Dances)
The trio shared numerous adventures together and clicked as a team to the point where Mickey Smith found himself an outsider during a shared adventure.
Jack revives for the first time.
Jack was aboard Satellite Five when a Dalek fleet launched their assault on Earth. He was killed defending the satellite against them. He was resurrected by Rose Tyler holding the powers of the Time Vortex which turned her into the Bad Wolf. The TARDIS departed before he could rejoin them. Jack was left stranded on the satellite. Jack later learnt from the Tenth Doctor that this resurrection was what made him immortal.

The captain sighed and cursed under his breath, what a dandy situation he got himself into this time. It was currently five thousand A.D and he was on board an alien ship hovering over earth, no biggie there. But thew aliens themselves were a threat and well they were dangerous as well, six inch long poisoned talons, tails that could easily pierce flesh and bone and they had a defensive exo-skeleton which took about six shots from his webley to pierce through and his watch was burnt out for now and then his Defabricator was in the other side of the ship and one more thing, it was pitch black. What else could possibly go wrong?[/size]
He sighed once more and jumped out from behind the pillar he was standing behind and shot the creature six times and bolted it to a metal grating ramp. The creature screeched and ran after Jack, it was naturally faster then him but it was bleeding which slowed it down in the end. The captain jumped over railing and rolled under more grating. As he neared his Defabricator he heard the alien quickly gaining on him which it would probably hurt if he got killed so it would be best to avoid that. He reached down and quickly picked up the cannon and turned, his finger pressing down on the trigger which blew the creature to bits, but of course it had to kill him. One of the creature's talon had stabbed into his gut which meant poison death, while it wouldn't kill him it'd hurt a lot.
He started to sweat as the poison left his system and groaned slightly as he slumped down against a wall, resting the cannon in one hand has he gripped the wound. Then he heard a beeping and entered a few numbers into his vortex time machine watch thingy and went back in time to Cardiff. Jack stood and rested his Defabricator over his shoulder as he slumped off to a bar, but first he had to return the gun to Torchwood just in case someone questioned it. At least the poison left his system which was a good thing, the man that could never die was a fitting title for the captain, simply because it was true. He was a fixed point in time and space, or so The Doctor said and who could argue with that?
Jack smiled and wandered off into a crowd, hiding himself from any people who would question his weapon, while he loved talking to everyone, mainly flirting he would rather enjoy spending time in a bar and that is what he did.
