♏ Powers And Abilities ♏
Strengths:
Rilon is attuned to both the Zodiac starsign of Scorpio and the element of Water. As such, the abilities he wields reflect both of these traits.
Senses Of The Scorpio: A purely passive skill which taps into the innate senses of both the scorpion and the human body. Primarily in order to allow Rilon to sense the presence of other living beings in the area through the use of vibrations in both the air and in the ground. Using this method, Rilon can easily determine the size, shape, number and even location of beings in the immediate area. And all he has to do for this is restrict his movements to a certain degree.
Legs Of the Scorpio: This ability allows for Rilon to temporarily create external legs belonging to a scorpion from either the sides of his stomach or his thighs. These legs do not necessarily come from the body but should they be damaged, Rilon will feel pain through the bond that is shared. Though it is possible to create new legs should they somehow sustain damage. These legs allow for Rilon to move at speeds not possible for human and allow for him to move freely upon virtually any surface. Walls and ceilings alike. With these legs, its even possible for Rilon to fall from dangerous heights and land safely upon the ground with ease.
Armour Of The Scorpio: Essentially an ability which allows for a temporary protein to instantly rise through the pores in Rilon's skin in order to act as a shield for the body. The only noticeable difference to Rilon's body during this time is a noticeable sheen to his skin and the fact that he will then literally glow in the dark. What this protein does is reduce the damage taken from certain attacks by up to half and makes his skin tougher to the point where its difficult to cut. This ability can be activated and deactivated at will but expends quite a bit of energy each time when doing so.
Claws Of The Scorpio: This skill allows for Rilon to form two claws either over his own arms or to float either side of his body for however long he decides to keep them active. These claws can crush solid rock with a powerful vice-like grip and cannot be damaged in any way. They also allow for Rilon to freely interact with most kinds of weapons with minimal danger to himself, but appear to be susceptible to certain types of magic/energy. These claws serve to be a good means of offence and defence.
Large orbs of water may also be created and shot from these claws at will to impact with a target using a large amount of pressure, but each orb expends a little bit of energy to do so. As such, this skill is (and should be) used sparingly.
Stinger Of The Scorpio: With this ability, Rilon creates a scorpion stinger which always appears attached to his tailbone. As with a scorpions, Rilon's stinger rests a small distance over his head but moves with lightning quick reflexes when he needs it to. This stinger can be used as a lethal weapon all on its own, but it has a few other uses which have proved invaluable to Rilon over the years.
The stinger secrets a powerful venom once a target is struck and through the use of various muscles and a small hole in the tip of the tail, Rilon can decide how much, if any at all venom is sent into the target's body. This venom can cause a painful death to an ordinary human being anywhere up to two days maximum. However, the effects may vary between individuals. The stinger can also be made to instead inject a high pressure water into the targets body which could easily cause drowning within the target approximately twenty-four hours later. Though seemingly less lethal then the venom, this method proves to be faster to act, far less painful, and harder to notice; but ultimately is easier to cure.
The final function of this skill allows for Rilon to bring about small but forceful waves of water (seemingly from nowhere) with a swing of his tail. This skill is mostly used as a defence but it can be used as an attack if done right.
Scorpion Minions: (Click Skill Name For Image) With this ability, Rilon is capable of creating either an entire army of scorpions or a specific number to act as his eyes and ears, perform minor tasks or even a means of assassination. These minions are of regular size and behave quite a bit like regular scorpions, however, the main difference with these minions is that they are comprised completely of water. Needless to say, when destroyed, they revert back into water. In order for these to be created, a sufficient amount of water needs to be available.
Despite not being real scorpions, these fauxes are still more then capable of killing a target.
Wrath Of The Scorpion: (Click Skill Name For Image) This skill cannot be used while any of the above techniques are active (bar the passive). This technique creates an unusually large scorpion the size of a large car which can be made to fight for Rilon as he sees fit. This skill allows for a single large scorpion to be created but should Rilon go for more, the results can possibly become life threatening. These larger scorpions are incredibly intelligent and their primary objective is to dispose of any threat that Rilon himself is unable to deal with. Their secondary objective happens to be Rilon's safety. They are incredibly durable and are able to deal/take vast amounts of damage (more-so then Rilon possibly could, anyway). These scorpions also differ from the minions in that they can strategise in ways Rilon can't and are not so easily disposed of. To create just one, requires Rilon spill his own blood and offer a considerable amount of his own stamina. Its often best to start off with this skill for obvious reasons.
Weaknesses:
- Rilon is mortal through and through and so can suffer from pain, disease and any ailment that crosses him. Even if he won't admit it.
- The element of lightning does quite a bit more damage then others.
- The element of ice nulls all of Rilon's water-based attacks.
- Rilon is primarily a close-ranged fighter and so suffers major disadvantages against long-ranged foes.
- At most, Rilon can only use up to two transformations at once. Of course, for each transformation, there are specific weaknesses he needs to watch out for.
- Different transformations and skills have their own speeds of activation. Needless to say, a quick foe can possibly take advantage of this.
- Foes with high levels of defense and stamina prove to be difficult to deal with.
- The main advantage for Rilon's abilities is how versatile they happen to be. However, an enemy with equally versatile attacks can prove to be quite the threat.

♏ Personal Information ♏
Personality:
Rilon is quite an odd individual. His emotions run deep and rampant within his body to the point where logic takes a back seat when deciding his actions and decisions. As such, he can become unpredictable and constantly switches between moods. Though most of the time, he is pretty easy to be around, it merely takes a single wrongly placed word from a friend to set off his short temper. Of course, this means that he is incredibly sensitive to the emotions and actions of others; including those of his friends and people he trusts.
Although he isn't as mentally resistant as some people happen to be, Rilon attempts to make up for this weakness by using his own temper and silver tongue as a means of both attack and defense. Though, when enraged by someone, he will usually do whatever he can to "get his own back" in order to make himself feel better. Which more often then not involves him "biting their head off". Usually when he first comes into contact with people he's never met or even new locations, his personality becomes virtually inverted. What would usually be a confident, arrogant, sly individual becomes a person reminiscent of a child clinging to legs his parents. Rilon keeps his mouth shut, keeps his eyes alert and attempts to understand everything he's being exposed to as quickly and easily as he can. Usually like this, he is nervous and unsure but attempts to cover it with a facade of indifference.
Rilon's temper can easily cloud his mind and is quick to make itself known at the first sign of hostility; even if he has no grounds to get angry at all. Its because he constantly strives to put up a strong front to the point where he expects others to treat him with respect and when it backfires, it usually ends up being a significant shock to his emotional defenses. Its because of this that Rilon only allows for his friends to get somewhat close to him, but its also because of this that his friends have the easiest time of hurting him.
This teenager generally hates to lose/be told he's wrong on certain subjects he's passionate about and so will not stand for opposition. Which is why he tends to avoid putting himself out there in the first place/won't bother trying at all unless he is 100% sure things will go his way. Anything else, he finds incredibly difficult to stick with anyway so in his eyes, he's saving himself quite a bit of both time and effort. Particularly with points that don't interest/concern him at all.
It should also be noted that Rilon occasionally switches between having both a superiority complex and an inferiority complex at times.
Though Rilon would generally do whatever he could for his friends, even they are only shown a selfish, irritable person. However, Rilon would argue that those he dislikes/despises have it far worse. He doesn't really favor himself at all and, at times, does feel sorry for the people he has bonds with being constantly exposed to him. And so, he can be seen apologizing for his behavior from time to time for seemingly no reason at all. He also seems to be quite shameless when it comes to embarrassment and awkward situations. The mere concept guilt seems lost on him, but ironically he is extremely loyal and will take any secrets he retains to his grave.
Overall, he is a loyal but chaotically unstable kid who keeps to himself most of the time and doesn't associate himself too much with the lives of others.
Traits:
- Tends to stutter when nervous.
- Seems to always be scowling even when not aware.
- Voice and expressions become hostile when irritated.
- Sometimes too lazy to answer with words and so either grunts or will stare at a person if he believes something obvious enough for them to figure out themselves.
- Capable of predicting the minor actions/emotions/thoughts of others.
- Despite his rather unorthodox methods, Rilon apparently has a very strong sense of justice.
- He can very easily become unreasonable.
- Rilon procrastinates at everything that takes a little more effort then he's used to.
History:
Rilon upbringing was one that could be easily played off as simple and carefree. Oblivious to the world around him and the consequences of ones actions. He was the second son to his two parents and (though classed the golden boy) was merely just sheltered through quite a bit. It was in his early years that Rilon's mindset began to slowly turn itself around when his older brothers teasing and annoying behavior became bad but became far worse as time flew by.
This is when the two would start their constant arguments and fights but as they saw less and less of their father, it seemed to be the only thing the two knew after awhile. After their father constantly became absent in his children's lives, Rilon's mother eventually took the children and left.
The fighting between Rilon as his older brother became extreme and stressed to the point where Rilon's true self began to change for the worst just as his brother was. And as their mother's health deteriorated with constant extremely powerful headaches, the stresses of motherhood were taking their toll.
It was on three separate occasions on which their mother left for a couple of nights out that the fighting eventually turned to death threats and attempts on one another's lives. Rilon attempted to inflict damage upon his older brother with knives and his brother attempted to choke his little brother at one point.
Eventually when the eldest son turned nineteen years of age; he was kicked out of their home for his abusive behavior towards his brother and mother.
It was sometime after this that a catastrophe occurred for Rilon at his school in which he'd lost all his friends over them finding out about his sexuality. It was here that his heart itself turned black, and his outlook on everything turned dark and morbid. In other words; Rilon's true persona awakened as a defense mechanism in order to keep himself safe as well as to get himself through the rougher stages. Luckily, during this time, he still had a few true friends he could rely upon. It was also during this time that he learned what he was really capable of...
As the years rolled on, and his mother's illness worsened. Her attitude towards her son shifted and changed and in response, his also turned chaotic in response. It was at this time that Rilon decided to leave his mother himself. And with that, he set about finding himself out in the world. He'd already had enough of his family as it was...
Rilon traveled far and wide, coming to various places and meeting few people. He covered his expenses with a few odd jobs here and there, and never stayed in a single place for too long. Sometimes he even moved elsewhere after a single day, depending upon how he felt. Until he eventually ventured to a place covered in the night sky yet was still looked down upon by the sun with a tower stood off in the distance.
After much deliberation, Rilon decided to make his way towards this tower and once he reached it, looking through the entire complex, he discovered something quite unusual and shocking. Apparently, he, along with eleven others had been granted special abilities since the day they were born. But until they had "awoken" to these abilities and their true persona's, they wouldn't be able to protect themselves. And reaching the tower was the first step.
Finding the eleven others is the second...

It was a quite place he'd stumbled into. One which spoke no words on its origin, its purpose, on its creation yet spoke volumes on who he was as a person and why he was here in the first place. He... wasn't sure why he was here. He'd been virtually everywhere this world had anything to offer and even to places that didn't seem like very much at all. But here... he'd never seen this place or even heard of it. And yet here it was, in the middle of this valley. Surrounded by a mountain range with no means of getting in or out easily enough.
Why was this tower built here anyway? What was the reason its creator had decided to set it here for?
Trailing his fingers along the inner walkways of the building, Rilon continued to move deeper inside. Getting a strange feeling like more of himself was becoming clearer with every step. It was almost as if that endless abyss inside his heart was finally revealing blooming a flower of light; shining golden rays upon every possible corner within his being. But how was that possible when he'd never seen this place before?
A sudden whispering sound came to his ears and the teenager was immediately alerted to attention. His body turning rigid and his eyes narrowing with suspicion. Were there others in this place with the same intentions as he? Or perhaps these were the original creators of this building and to be found by them, he'd be arrested for trespassing.
"Not likely."
The boy pressed his back firmly against the nearest wall and edged himself close to the end of the hallway before taking a glance around. What lay before him happened to be a circular room with small book laid upon a table at its center. The room was devoid of anything over then twelve symbols placed evenly upon the walls. One of which seemed to be flashing a faint Amethyst glow. Which only seemed to increase in urgency the closer Rilon got.
It was good to see he was relatively alone in this place. But he couldn't take too long. Who knew what was in this place...
At once, Rilon flicked through the pages of the book, his eyes scanning every inch of information before his fingers eventually came to a stop at his sides. His lips set in an enraged snarl yet his hazel eyes reflected nothing more then amusement and curiosity. Maybe now was a good time to find the others.
His real siblings...
